Billing
We do not bill our clients for routine expenses that we consider
our cost of doing business. These nonbillable expenses include
routine telephone charges, copying, faxing, postal and word processing.
We do bill, at our cost, for extraordinary expenditures such as
conference calls and extensive long distance and international
telephone charges, copying jobs, court filing fees, messenger
and courier services and computerized legal research charges.
When using third party services, we endeavor to work with the
best quality, lowest priced vendors.
Professional Affiliations
We are privileged to be one of the few New York law firms that has been selected and approved for participation in the prestigious Association of the Bar of the City of New York's Lawyer Referral Service. In addition, members of our firm publish and lecture extensively on a wide range of legal topics. Articles by our members have appeared in the New York Law Journal as well as the New York State Bar Association Journal and other similar publications of interest. In addition, our attorneys serve as law professors at major universities as well as in various advisory capacities on industry and bar association councils, evaluating and commenting on proposed legislation and other issues affecting the financial and business aspects of our clients. In addition to being legal counsel to the American Nightlife Awards and the Sephardic Voter's League, we are also members of the American Bar Association (ABA), New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Our attorneys are admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts of the State of New York, New Jersey, United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, as well as for the Second, Third, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuits, the Federal Circuit Court as well as the United States Supreme Court.
