The SoHo law firm Oved & Oved, specialists in complex commercial litigation, entertainment, corporate, real estate and e-commerce law, has relocated from 110 Greene Street, its home for five years, to 101 Avenue of the Americas. The five-year sublease secures 15,000 square feet for the firm, whose previous quarters amounted to 4,500 square feet. All 10 attorneys and seven support personnel now operate out of the 412,000 square-foot building's 15th floor, formerly the office space for its sublandlords, the Trustees of Building Service Local 32B-J's Pension Fund and Health Fund Union.

The firm expects significant growth within the next year and needed more room. The layout contains newly constructed perimeter offices and secretarial workstations, a 30-seat conference room, a cafeteria, a law library, and several trial preparation "war" rooms. The firm was attracted to the property's tenant-controlled air conditioning setup, its 24-hour security system and ground floor auditorium/conference center. Other tenants include Capital Records/EMI and Winston Financial Services.

Terrence A. Oved and Darren Oved represented their own firm, while Jennifer K. Schecter, an associate at Proskauer Rose, advised the sublandlords.

David Silberberg, principal at Spaceworks' Real Estate Services Inc., and associate Trisha Jerry were brokers for Oved & Oved. Newmark Knight Frank's Mark Weiss, Robert Eisenberg, Neil Joffee and Barbara Craig served as brokers for the Trustees. Asking rents were not disclosed.
