Practice Experience
Mr. Oved is Chairman of the firm’s Litigation Department
and has a tremendously broad range of experience in complex commercial
litigation matters, representing plaintiffs and defendants, individuals
and largely held public and private organizations as well as small
and mid sized businesses in matters involving e-commerce, commercial
contract disputes, real estate, bankruptcy, intellectual property
and entertainment law. Mr. Oved also has extensive federal and
state appellate advocacy experience as well as mediation and arbitration
expertise, having argued numerous cases in the state and federal
courts and representing his clients in complex commercial mediations
and arbitrations.
Mr. Oved is widely recognized and regarded by many clients, attorneys
and judges as having the strategic vision of a wartime commander
when he is actively engaged in a litigation. His commitment to
excellence and perfection on behalf of a client, and when necessary,
his unwavering determination to leave no stone unturned, is often
testified to by the favorable results and unparalleled work product
achieved for a client.
Mr. Oved is a published author, having had several articles published
in the New York Law Journal and other trade publications. In addition,
many court decisions reflecting matters Mr. Oved has worked on
have been reported on in the New York Law Journal.
Mr. Oved is admitted to practice before the United States Court
of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District
Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States
District Court for the Eastern District of New York as well as
the New York State Courts.
