Practice Experience
Mr. Solomon has a broad spectrum of experience in both complex
commercial litigation, real estate and intellectual property transactions.
He has participated in numerous commercial litigations involving
manufacturers, retailers, financial institutions, contractors
and copyright holders. In addition, Mr. Solomon has also assisted
clients in the representation of foreign and domestic music publishers,
as well as musicians, choreographers, music producers and authors.
Additionally, he has participated in the creation of trusts and
wills involving complex multi-jurisdictional intellectual property
issues and is also experienced in handling residential co-op and
condominium real estate closings. Mr. Solomon has extensive experience inthe drafting and negotiation of condominium offering plans as well as related amendments and 1031 "like-kind" exchanges.
Mr. Solomon has significant experience in drafting state and
federal legal briefs, appellate briefs, preparing for and conducting witness examinations at trial, depositions, conducting discovery and otherwise participating
in all aspects and phases of preparing a case for trial. Mr. Solomon
also analyzes, negotiates and drafts licensing agreements with
record companies, publishers and international sub-publishers
to benefit artists, as well as the beneficiaries of deceased artists’
estates and also works directly with clients to create unique
licenses and contracts for internet based music production companies.
